Don was born in Melborne, Florida.  The first book he read was the Bible.  He was a precocious child.  He had doubts about anything he was not able to know – personally.

You want to know how many sheets are in a 1,000 sheet roll of toilet paper?  Don says, “Count them yourself.”  –  He DID!

Raised in the Assembly of God church, Don preached his first sermon at age 14.   Even though he was not a preachers kid until the arrival of his step-dad, Aubry Sara… he lived up to the cliché and got into enough trouble to be sent to a private school to make a change and avoid more serious punishment for his antics!
